A Spanish-speaking family was minding their own business and just eating at a Virginia restaurant when a white woman rudely interrupted them and demanded that they show her their passports. Someone was able to film the woman’s tirade and the video has since gone viral after it was posted on social media.
The footage shows the woman screaming at a Guatemalan woman and her family shouting at them too “go back to you f***ing country.” The woman in rage also lectures the family not to “freeload on America” and repeated her demands that they show her their passports.

The incident happened at Andy’s, a restaurant in Lovettsville, Virginia. The restaurant took to social media and denounced the woman’s acts describing her in a Facebook post as “vile and loathsome individual.”
The restaurant also wrote: “Thank you - and we mean this with all the aforementioned respect that you rightfully deserve - for never returning to Andy’s. You’re not welcome.”
The woman could also be seen in the video as continuing her hate-filled tirade outside the restaurant, declaring for all to hear, “I’m tired of this shit.”
The woman in the family berated by the angry diner was the one who recorded the video and shared it with Telemundo 44 in Washington, D.C.

The incident is the latest in a series of cases of alleged racism involving white people against other people of color, and those speaking other languages while in the country. A woman recently called the police to report a black father for yelling during his son’s game. The father claimed he was merely cheering for his son.
Another case involved a woman Walmart employee telling a male customer to speak English, not Spanish, since “they were in Texas.”

Once upon a time while in China, I was asked for my passport almost daily. Although in a polite manner with no shouting at me to go back to the USA or anything of the sort.
