Michael Avenatti, Stormy Daniels Attorney, said he has still not decided as to whether he will make a run for the White House in 2020.
“How serious is your consideration of a 2020 White House run?” an MSNBC host asked.
“Well, my consideration is very serious. I have not made a decision yet,” Avenatti said. “I’ve been to over 15 states in the last couple months — gauging reaction, helping raise money for Democrats.”
Avenatti said Trump would be hard to beat in 2020, and Democrats can’t expect to meet him with a “message of puppies and daisies,” but need to prepare for a “brutal campaign.”
Avenatti said he doesn’t believe women will support Trump for his reelection in 2020.
“I don’t think they’re going to support him in the same degree they did last time,” Avenatti said. “I think that his misogyny is wearing thin, but ultimately, I don’t think he’s going to change his conduct.”
Trump called Avenatti’s client, Stormy Daniels, “horse face” in a tweet, and the lawyer said this is just another insult towards women in a long line of attacks from Trump.
“This is a man who has been demeaning women his whole adult life,” Avenatti continued. “The only way we are going to solve this problem is defeating him and removing him from office.”
This is Avenatti. A slimy lawyer with not one ounce of class.
