Ever wonder why there hasn't been another Boston Marathon bombing? Well, that is thanks to amazing law enforcement of our country including the FBI who recently stopped one of the most heinous terror plots ever discovered and. Federal agents discovered a nutjob liberal planning to detonate a 200-pound bomb (and himself) in the middle of Federal Plaza, Washington, D.C. on Election Day. The plan, if allowed to be carried out, would kill hundreds.
56-year-old liberal nut case Paul Rosenfeld planned the heinous attack hoping to kill himself and draw attention to his progressive political beliefs.
Over the last two months, Rosenfeld sent letters and texts to a Pennsylvania reporter explaining his plan to detonate the 200-pound explosive to draw attention to the what he called the "sortition" political system.

The Pennsylvania reporter informed the FBI of Rosenfeld's plan to unleash terror on Washington. Authorities hunted and found Rosenfeld. A patrolling officer pulled him over on Tuesday. The liberal extremist waived his Miranda rights and admitted to planning the bloody attack. Rosenfeld broke down and detailed to investigators how he built the bomb while staying under the government's radar.
Rosenfeld ordered large quantities of "black powder" online and used it to build a series of test explosives acting as a prototype for the scale model. The would-be-terrorist showed investigators a secret stash in his basement the components of the device to ensure he would be killed as well - commonly referred to as a "kill switch."
The FBI removed the 200-pound bomb from Rosenfeld's basement and transferred to it to a secure location in Rockland County. Agents removed the wiring and fusing systems, leaving none of Rosenfeld's deadly invention behind.
Crazy liberals like Rosenfeld are more common than you think, FBI Director Christopher Wray said his agents are investigating around 1,000 homegrown terror threats in all 50 states. How many are presently being encouraged and fincance by the recent wave of progressive liberalism is unknown.

Wray said at a Senate hearing Wednesday morning, "Those cover the waterfront of the full range of extremist ideologies from right to left and everything in between." Rosenfeld is expected to make his first appearance in New York federal Wednesday, but the FBI does not believe he is a part of any larger terrorist organization.
FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge William Sweeney said, "Had he been successful, Rosenfeld’s alleged plot could have claimed the lives of innocent bystanders and caused untold destruction." U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said in a statement, "As alleged, Paul M. Rosenfeld concocted a twisted plan to draw attention to his political ideology by killing himself on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.—risking harm to many others in the process. Rosenfeld’s alleged plan for an Election Day detonation cut against our democratic principles. Thanks to outstanding coordination between local and federal law enforcement, Rosenfeld’s alleged plot was thwarted and he is now in federal custody."
The bomb contained 8-pounds of black powder. The heavy weight was due to plywood crating and other components used to transport the device.
FBI investigators believe Rosenfeld operated on his own and did not have an accomplice. He is charged with unlawful manufacture of a destruction device and interstate transportation and receipt of an explosive. If Rosenfeld is found guilty of the charges, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
