Didn't See it Coming: Two Psychics Hit by Runaway Car While Having Lunch at Cafe

An out-of-control car slammed through the window at a café in Ontario at high speed, hitting two diners and pinning them to the wall. All these horrifying moments were captured by security cameras. The customers incredibly were not seriously harmed.

The accident happened on May 30 after 3 p.m. at Silks Country Kitchen in Virgil, Ontario near Niagara-on-the-Lake. Eddie Dijon, 84, was peacefully eating with his friend Blair Robertson when a speeding silver Lexus came slamming through the window. The impact pushed the two men violently backward, pinning them between the wall and the car. Debris was sent flying.

The elderly Dijon thought his neck was broken. Both men were able to get out of the incident with only minor injuries.

While relieved that the accident could have turned much worse for them, the two men were still left “shaken” by it. Robertson said: “I’m battered and bruised, have a nasty headache and assorted aches and pains. Not fun.”

Dijon is a magician and psychic, as is Robertson, but the two did not see the accident coming, and hitting them while they were having their leisurely regular meals at their favorite café. The table they were sitting at that time is the same table they always sat on each visit.

The Lexus driver was identified as an 85-year-old woman from New York state. Police who interviewed her said she was neither intoxicated nor under the influence. Since the incident happened on a private property and no one suffered grave injuries, the police are not pressing charges.
