Russia - Pussy Riot Member Expecting a Report on Journalists’ Murders On The Day He Was Poisoned

New information and details are coming in now that may be relevant to the case of Russian punk protest Pussy Riot member Pyotr Verzilov getting in grave condition under suspicions of suffering from poisoning. A new report from newspaper Novaya Gazeta reveals that the Mediazona publisher was supposed to receive the final report on a probe into the deaths of three Russian documentary filmmakers in the Central African Republic on the same day he was poisoned.

Verzilov was said to be so invested into finding the truth behind the mysterious deaths of reporter Orkhan Dzhemal, director Alexander Rastorguyev, and cameraman Kirill Radchenko on July 30 that he even found foreign specialists working in the region and raised money to fund a probe into the matter.

The Pussy Riot member even almost joined the expedition to gather evidence of Russian mercenaries’ activities in the country. He even booked his plane tickets but backed out at the last minute to join instead the protest in the FIPA World Cup Finals that saw Verzilov landing in jail for 15 days.

The killed journalists planned to cover the giant Ndassima gold mine, which is said to be being developed by the company “Lobaye Invest” and guarded by the private military company “Wagner.” The two companies were associated with Evgeny Prigozhin, the catering magnate known to have close Kremlin ties and who is believed to be running his own “troll factory.”

The three journalists were even planning to meet with a member of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic, who supposedly committed to helping them get access to the mines for their documentary.

Verzilov’s group and theor supporters launched protest action about his suspected poisoning, demanding justice for what was done to him.

Doctors are also confirming that Verzilov is likely poisoned.
