There's disturbing news to report coming from one of the nation's most highly-controversial social media platforms, where a Twitter user by the name of “Daddy Faps” was charged for sharing illicit child pornographic images and videos across the service.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office has decided on three felony charges against 56-year-old Karey Michael Goolsby, according to local news affiliate.
The investigation into Goolsby began after the Harris County Sheriff's Office were sent information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which they had been sent from Twitter.
Goolsby had used the widely-popular platform to engage in the uploading and transmission of illicit child pornographic images and videos, in which Twitter then submitted the files to the NCMEC database for recognition.
After the NCMEC finished a deeply-rooted, algorithm intense investigation into the Twitter account “Daddy Faps,” they were able to discover the IP address matched Goolsby’s home in the Spring area of north Harris County.
Harris County Sheriff's Detectives then contacted the Department of Homeland Security (HSI), who sent Special Agents, along with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to serve an evidentiary search warrant at Goolsby's home.
When inside the home, Goolsby voluntarily submitted himself to questioning, where he repeatedly denied all of the allegations against him.
At one point, Goolsby said that law enforcement would “find ‘stuff’ they didn't like” amidst their search efforts.
Soon after, authorities retrieved multiple electronic devices from the home. This included hard drives, mobile phones, laptop computers, and a desktop computer.
During a forensic inspection of the drives, the HCSO High Tech Crimes unit found a stunning 220 videos and images of prepubescent children being forced to endure sexual assault.
The child victims are believed to be younger than ten-years-old, and Goolsby is seen in some of the graphic depictions.
Goolsby was then charged with three Felony counts of Possession of Child Pornography, and taken under arrest by HCSO investigators.
Since his arrest, Goolsby has bailed out of custody on a $30,000 bond and is scheduled for a hearing on October 19th, 2018 in the 230th Felony Court.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office is prosecuting the case and believes there could be additional charges once all of the evidence has been thoroughly investigated.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agency Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is also bringing down suspected child-sex offenders through Operation Predator.
You can also contact ICE via the Operation Predator application for mobile devices. ICE has created a smartphone app – the first of its kind in U.S. federal law enforcement – designed to seek the public's help with fugitive and unknown suspect child predators.

<b>It is also time that we as a society hold our elected officials accountable in demanding stricter punishments be enforced with tough new legislation against anyone who would victimize a child, of either life imprisonment, of capital punishment. They are often released and re-offend. There is no rehabilitation for child sex offenders.</b>
