Illegal Alien from Guatemala Stabs 16-year-old Jersey Girl to Death

There's disturbing news to report coming out of New Jersey, where it appears that a young girl who was found stabbed to death in a barbaric slaying, was killed by an illegal alien.

16-year-old Madison Wells was a loving person, say those who remember her, and now that she's gone? Their lives are torn apart.

Long Branch School Superintendent Michael Salvatore said that the Long Branch High School, where Madison attended, will have grief counseling available for students and staff to take advantage of. He added that the services would be at the pleasure of the Traumatic Loss Coalition for Youth.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, in a statement, said Long Branch police responded to a call about the stabbing at 10:42 PM in the 200 block of Van Pelt Place, as reported by the<a href="https://www.nj.com/monmouth/index.ssf/2018/09/man_charged_after_16-year-old_girl_was_stabbed_to.html"> NJ.com </a>website.

When they arrived, they had no idea what they'd discover, but they would have nightmares after seeing Madison.

Authorities discovered the child unconscious with heavy blood loss, a scene from a horror movie, where the victim was suffering from multiple stab wounds and sliced from head to toe.

After trying to resuscitate Madison, they transported her to Monmouth Medical Center, where she would be pronounced dead at 11:25 PM, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.

As a result of an investigation, friends of Madison said 20-year-old Bryan Cordero-Castro, of Long Branch, was responsible for the heinous murder, which arrested Bryan Cordero-Castro, of, on charges of murder, possessing a weapon for an unlawful purpose and attempted escape.

Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Charles Webster told NJ Advance Media that Cordero-Castro was living in the country illegally and is from Guatemala.

Friends of the pair say that the murderous illegal alien, and the innocent victim, both knew each other on a personal level.

Cordero-Castro’s friends say that he graduated from Long Branch High School just last year himself, and one said he had known him since elementary school.

"I knew him since third grade," friend Leonardo Alvarado said. "It's kind of hard to see him in the court like that and accused of that thing."

Despite Alvarado’s ignorance, his friend is not only a federal criminal illegal alien but now charged with murder, weapons possession and attempted escape in the death of Madison Wells.

Madison’s cousin said that she had moved back into New Jersey just a few years prior to her tragic slaying. Madison and her family moved back from Florida, to be with her paternal father after her mother passed away from cancer.

According to family, they've set up a<a href="https://www.gofundme.com/remember-madison"> GoFundMe</a>, in Madison’s name to help with funeral costs.

Cordero-Castro is set to appear before Monmouth County Superior Court Judge James J. McGann at 9 AM, on Thursday, September 13th.
