Social media users pointed out that Eminem's surprise album "Kamikaze" contains a homophobic slur used against another rapper called Tyler the Creator. The irony of this is deeper than the social justice warriors cared to see.
In fact, Eminem has been one of the most vocal celebrities against Trump even going so far as to rap about kidnapping President Trump's daughter and assassinating Trump himself. Eminem's leftist ideology condemns Trump and calls him names such as racist and homophobic.

Now, one album later, Eminem uses a racial slur "faggot" when referring to an African American man. Is there a double standard here or is it just me? Social media users were unhappy with the fact that he used the term but failed to link his ideology to his hypocrisy relating to his hate for Trump. Social media user and journalist Roisin O' Connor called out the rap artist saying, "Can't even say I'm surprised that Eminem is still using homophobic slurs in 2018 bc he's a fucking child but Justin Vernon, what the hell are you doing on the track man."
O' Connor went on to say in an article on What's Trending, " I will never understand how people say that they didn’t know how a slur or disrespectful term was rude until they used it, but always say the term in such a cautious manner, showing that they know that they shouldn’t be saying it. We’re shaking our heads, Marshall, this is reaaaal low."
