Fired former director James Comey also shared in his Senate testimony last week something many non-mainstream media have already reported on- that is, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch telling him to call the probe on Hillary Clinton’s alleged mishandling of work emails with the use of a private server as a “matter” instead of an “investigation.”
As a result of what Comey revealed, top Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein is calling for an investigation into former Secretary General Loretta Lynch, Comey’s boss during the Obama administration.
Sen. Feinstein said: “I think we need to know more about that. And there’s only one way to know about it, and that’s to have the Judiciary Committee take a look at that.” The Democrat Senator shared her thoughts on Sunday’s episode of State of the Union.
Should an investigation indeed take place, Feinstein, a ranking member, would exercise a lot of power?
Lynch was a nominee of former President Barack Obama. She also became controversial last year when she met with the former president and husband of Hillary, Bill Clinton during the height of the issue on Hillary’s private server scandal. Lynch said at that time that she and Bill were merely “having a small talk.” Lynch could not shake off, however, the general suspicion that she is too close to Democrats and the Clintons, and that she might have abused her power to protect Hillary and her presidential ambition at the time.
