Illegal Protest Sanctuary City Bill on Memorial Day by Storming Into Texas Capitol

The new bill on sanctuary cities has aroused the anger amongst illegal immigrants. In a move aimed at expressing their discontent, a clique of illegal immigrant protesters stormed to the State Capitol in Texas.

In what appeared to be an act of defiance, the illegal immigrants staged their protest on the Memorial Day. A day set aside for the nation to honor fallen soldiers who’ve made sacrifices for the country.

The disgraceful protest was a sign of disrespect to the memories of those honorable men and women.

Some leaders could barely tolerate it. Matt Rinaldi, who is the Republican State Rep. reported the protesters to ICE after he noticed that many of them were holding “I am illegal and here to stay signs.”

Rinaldi told a group of Hispanic lawmakers that he had called the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials on the protesters. Rinaldi revealed that he called ICE since he couldn’t handle the large protest. The move was aimed at incentivizing the protesters to leave the house.

As you’d expect, Rinaldi’s Democrat colleagues were not ready to concede, they started a shoving match on the Capitol floor.

A statement made on Facebook by Rinaldi claimed that Democrat Rep. Alfonso Nevarez told him he would get him on the way to his car. In retaliation, Rinaldi threatened to shoot him in self-defense.

Some Democrats claimed that Rinaldi told Nevarez that he would put a bullet in his head. The protest is over a bill that bans ‘sanctuary’ cities in the state of Texas.

SB4, which was signed by Governor Greg Abbott, bans policies of harboring, aiding, and abetting criminal illegal immigrants. It also imposes fines and jail time for sheriffs and police chiefs who don’t follow the law.

There are various opinions on illegals protesting on Memorial Day, based on one’s level of patriotism. However, illegals ought to respect our fallen and active soldiers for their acts of courage and sacrifice.
