Donald Trump Tells DNC to Fire Donna Brazile for Helping Hillary Clinton by Cheating

Soon after CNN parted ways with its contributor Donna Brazile after she leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump challenged the Democratic National Committee to fire her too. According to the Republican candidate, if he was the one who was caught cheating, then he would have probably been slapped with a very severe punishment.

Brazile, an avid supporter of Clinton and the interim chairwoman for the DNC, came under fire earlier this week after a leaked email revealed by WikiLeaks showed the former CNN contributor informing Clinton’s camp about a debate question. As noted by Politico, Brazile leaked the question before the Democratic primary debate between Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

In the email, which was dated March 5, 2016, Brazile warned John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman, that one of the individuals who will ask a question at the debate was a victim of lead poisoning in Flint, Michigan.

“One of the questions directed to [Hillary Rodham Clinton] tomorrow is from a woman with a rash,” Brazil wrote. “Her family has lead poisoning and she will ask what, if anything, will Hillary do as president to help the [people] of Flint.”

Due to WikiLeaks’ latest revelation, Clinton’s camp has been criticized for working with a cheater. Brazile was then fired by CNN for her actions.

Trump then noted that if the news agency terminated her employment because of what she had done, then the DNC should also follow in the same path and remove Brazile from the committee, The Hill reported.

“I think she just got fired from the network,” he said during a rally in Michigan. “She should be fired from the DNC.”

The GOP’s presidential hopeful then mused that if he was the one caught cheating during the campaign, then his political rivals and critics would have most likely demanded for his head.

“By the way, could you imagine if I did that? Bobby, what would happen to me if I did that? Electric chair, I think,” he said while gesturing to one of the rally’s attendees Bobby Knight, a former college basketball coach.
