Things are really heating up in Texas. Protesters decided it would be a good idea to do their thing outside the State Capital in Austin. The lawmaker were gathered to debate an immigration bill.
When Republican Representative Matt Rinaldi saw a large group of Mexicans holding signs advertising the fact that they were Illegal Aliens and proud of it, he called immigration. Naturally the democrats exploded with fury.
Enter Poncho. Democrat Poncho Nevárez was outraged with Rinaldi and threatened to beat him up in the parking lot. According to Rinaldi:
“Poncho told me that he would ‘get me on the way to my car.’ He later approached me and reiterated that ‘I had to leave at some point, and he would get me.’ I made it clear that if he attempted to, in his words, “get me,” I would shoot him in self defense.”
Poncho ran to the media and claimed that Rinaldi threatened to put a bullet in his head. He failed to mention his own threats against the Republican.
