FBI REOPENS HILLARY CLINTON INVESTIGATION AFTER NEW EMAILS FOUND

On Friday the director of the FBI James Comey sent a letter to congress to inform them of new emails found in the Hillary Clinton investigation. This letter was sent despite members of the Obama administration attempting to stop Director Comey of informing Congress. The FBI is part of the Executive branch and answers to the President of the United States.

James Comey had to make a serious moral decision. There is no law prohibiting him from contacting congress directly, but the Attorney General of the United States Loretta Lynch told him not to report the new findings. Mr. Comey must have felt obligated by his recent testimony given to congress when the new evidence obtained from the telephone that belonged to Anthony Weiner.

The disgraced former congressman had been using the phone to have cybersex with young girls. His wife Huma Abedin who happens to be Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, and was her closest aide as Secretary of State used that telephone for official business. However she forgot to log out afterwards, and the emails that Hillary Clinton had reported deleted were found on that telephone.

We still don’t know what is in this emails however. The FBI has not obtained a search warrant to read them. It is likely that search warrant will be issued on Monday. It is open to speculation how long it will take the FBI to review those emails, and decide of any criminal charges will be made. Hopefully they will make timely announcements so we will know before the election if Hillary Clinton will be indicted.
