Paramedic Assaulted by Heather Locklear Just Hired a Personal Injury Lawyer

Actress Heather Locklear’s woes are far from over as her legal troubles seem to pile up with news of the paramedic she attacked during her drunken moments late last month has just hired a lawyer.

Entertainment site TMZ reports that according to their sources privy to the case, the paramedic Locklear kicked during her most recent meltdown has acquired the legal services of personal injury lawyer Kevin Flahavan.

The EMT Locklear hurt has been reassigned to desk duty after sustaining injuries to her head and neck following the assault of the actress and former top TV star. The injuries of the paramedic are said to be serious enough to impede her ability to work.

Sources told TMZ that the victim will be seeking money not only to cover her medical bills as a result of the injuries she suffered from Locklear’s attack but also financial compensation for emotional abuse after being verbally assaulted by the actress as well.

The actress also assaulted one of the responding police officers who came to her home after receiving calls that she was heavily intoxicated and having a serious altercation with other members of the household.

A deputy was trying to separate the actress from the people she was quarreling with when she turned her ire on the officer and attacked him including kicking the deputy, leading to her arrest.

One of the biggest television stars of the 1980s and 1990s, Locklear had to spend a night in jail. The actress became entangled in one trouble after the other after her star waned with her problematic relationships. She has gone through two divorces and a slew of short-term boyfriends since. She also had to contend with rumors of addiction and brushes with the law. She has had numerous rehab stints.

Flavahan refused to comment on the matter, except to say his only concern was his client’s health and well-being. Such is a confirmation, however, that the lawyer has accepted the case.

No formal charges have been filed by the paramedic’s party yet, however. But for sure it will be in the offing and will add to the already mounting legal troubles of Locklear.
