After Anderson pushed the owner's son, threw her food on the floor, and assaulted the owner's wife, she then attacked the owner when he tried to intervene. Anderson then bit off the owner's ear, or at least a portion of it, according to The Macomb Daily. She was arraigned Friday in 41B District Court in Clinton Township on one count of assault with intent to maim, a felony that carries a sentence of up to 10-years in prison.
Anderson was booked into the Macomb County Jail on a $20,000 cash or surety bond. The owner of the China 1 was transported to the hospital, and his wife was treated for a large bump on her forehead. Deputies investigating the crime became aware that Anderson had a small child unsupervised at home. They responded to her home and turned the child over to a responsible caretaker.

A probable cause hearing is scheduled for July 11. The restaurant had a hastily made sign in its window Friday saying, "We are not opening today because of some reasons."
