A bizarre incident saw a man fatally shot as he was having sex. The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Ladontes Miller of North Charleston.
The police authorities have revealed that Miller was having sex with a woman in a van when he was fatally shot in North Charleston. The officials from the North Charleston Police Department released new details on Monday over the night shooting which took place on Friday.
The incident kicked off an investigation after a police officer responded to St. Johns Avenue for a shooting and found witnesses standing near the scene in the roadway.
Reports from the witnesses indicated that the actual scene was behind a home where a van was still running with its headlights on. The officer reported it appears that the back bumper of the van was pressed against the home as if it had crashed into it.
Miller was found by the police having been slumped over the driver’s seat and a woman who was squatting behind the driver’s door, with blood on her hands and face.
The woman told the officer that she was having sex in the vehicle before somebody came up to the van and shot Miller. She revealed that she was Miller’s friend. However, the witness was unable to reveal the number of suspects she saw.
A single pop sound was reported by witnesses who told investigators that they saw a van backed into the home. The owner of the home went to the van to find out why they crashed into her house. The homeowner was shocked to find the victim had been shot. Witnesses also revealed that the woman was using narcotics in the back seat after the victim was shot dead.
Miller’s friend faces charges as the police conduct investigations.
