Trump Vows To Pour In More Money In The Campaign

Showing confidence for his impending election victory, Republican nominee vows to pour in more money into his campaign and close the $100 million mark of his personal contributions to his presidential run.

Trump told CNN that he is even prepared to go over $ 100 million to conclude the campaign, less than two week before election day on Nov. 8. Trump also observed that today's elections necessitate that candidates spend big, unlike in the old days when candidates can go on credit, or spend less.

Recent Federal Election Commission records show that Trump has donated close to $60 million to his campaign since his presidential bid was launched in June. He would have to pour in an additional $40 million to close the $100 million mark.

It is very likely that additional funds would go to digital and television advertising especially in must-win states like Florida and Ohio. Towards the end of last month, the Trump campaign announced their plans to spend $140 million on ads in the final six weeks of the election, and to expand by reaching additional markets in key battleground states.

Even before handing out the additional funds, things are looking good for Trump as new polls show him edging Hillary Clinton in Florida and closing the gap in New Hampshire.

Trump is also stepping up his rallies, tirelessly going on several stops per day in the homestretch of the campaign.

Trump did not hide his confidence in the ribbon cutting event of the launch of the family's new Trump International Hotel in downtown Washington.

"We are going to have, I think, a tremendous victory. If I didn't think that, I wouldn't say it.", Trump said.
