Mike Pence Reaffirms Donald Trump's Stance on US-Israel Alliance in New Campaign Video

Through a new video for the Republican Party’s campaign rally in Jerusalem, the GOP’s vice presidential candidate Mike Pence reaffirmed the citizens of Israel that he and his running mate Donald Trump are ready to support their cause and defend them from their enemies. Pence’s message echoed the same sentiments conveyed by Trump in his own video for the Jerusalem rally.

The video, which was released on Oct. 26, shows Pence standing before a simple white background as he delivers his message to Israel. The vice presidential hopeful and Governor of Indiana noted that Israel is the U.S.’ greatest ally and that the country is ready to do whatever it can to help the Middle Eastern country and protect it from its neighboring enemies.

“Israel’s fight is our fight, her cause is just and her values are our values and her fate is our fate,” Pence said in the video. “Israel is our most cherished ally in the world. Israel faces a threatening neighbor who seeks to wipe her off the face of the earth.”

Like Pence, Trump also released a recorded message for the recent rally held in Jerusalem. Although both candidates were not in the event in person, they were still able to rally the support from the crowd through their powerful statements. Many of them were wearing caps and shirts with Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again.” At one point during the rally, the crowd chanted “Lock her up,” a phrase that references the wrongdoings of Trump’s rival Hillary Clinton.

In his own message, Trump promised the crowd that under his administration, the U.S. embassy will be relocated from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, thereby officially recognizing the region as the capital of Israel. He also said that the U.S. is ready to fight against Iran and other countries that support terrorist groups in the Middle East, CNN reported.
