It was supposed to be the man’s night in Queens, New York as he was being treated to a Father’s Day dinner of burgers and beer by his daughter and granddaughter but an unexpected- and definitely unwanted- added ingredient ruined his evening and probably some of his faith in humanity.
The man discovered the startling and way unacceptable extra ingredient when they asked for the receipt and printed there were his order of cheeseburger and his order of cheddar and toast bread but apparently, the waitress who took the family’s order added a special instruction to the cook that says: “please spit in it too.”

Curtis Mays says in an interview with local media that it all started because his order got mixed up. Still, he was rightfully dismayed and enraged as there’s no justification for what the waitress did. Mays says: "I ate my burger already, I felt like I was gonna throw up.”
Mays confronted the waitress, but the woman could not quite explain her reason for the instruction on the receipt to spit on his burger. Mays narrated how their exchange went:
"I asked her, 'why would you do this?' And she couldn't explain it. She said she didn't do it, so I was like 'who prints out the receipt?' So she said, 'I take it up there and print it myself.'" Mays said, "'So you did it? Why are you lying about it?' She just walked off."
Mays says he was so shocked with what happened considering the waitress was quite nice at the start.
The manager fired the waitress on the spot. Mays naturally also got a refund. He shares that the manager was very apologetic and kept asking him how he could be compensated. Mays could only answer: 'How can you compensate somebody for spitting on your food? I ate this already.’
The manager assured Mays that it is unlikely for the cook to do as ordered by the waitress but said that he completely understands why the customer would be upset with what happened.
The waitress’ identity was not released. The manager had never had a problem with this particular employee before but said that the food business is a stressful industry.
The incident mars the A rating of the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden from the Department of Health.
