Tiffany Trump has managed to maintain such a low profile that she’s often forgotten. However, that might change over time.
This follows an announcement by Georgetown University said on Monday that Tiffany Trump planned to enroll at its law school in September. The move will put the fourth Trump sibling just a mile and a half away from her father and half-sister in the White House.
Tiffany will be physically closer to her powerful family, despite keeping her distance.
Her dressing as she attended the City of Hope Spirit of Life Award luncheon in Manhattan on Monday, was more for the Oval Office than the runway, wearing a black bouclé blazer, teardrop earrings, and black headband.
She was accompanied by her mother, Marla Maples, who has said she raised Tiffany as a single mother and, since her ex-husband became president, avoided the whole Trump media circus, save for sticking by her daughter’s side as she navigated New York Fashion Week in February.
As you’d expect, Tiffany turned down interview requests at the event. In the meantime, Maples told reporters, about a history of cancer in her family, saying that she remembers her mother through her Chanel purses.
The event was hosted by her friend Andrew Warren and featuring the same constellation of New York power offspring (Denzel Washington’s daughter Olivia, Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne, Andy Garcia’s daughter Alessandra, and Hayley Hasselhoff) that she’s been associated with since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016.
Her attendance marked her first major public appearance in New York since Fashion Week in February, where she stuck to front-row seats rather than walking as a model, as she did in 2016.
Tiffany is sending every signal of becoming the buttoned-up woman in politics she’s not dressing like Ivanka.
She’s been very supportive of her mother, who has been described as sensitive to Tiffany’s concern.
Despite the speculation that she is being groomed for a role in her father’s administration, there’s little evidence of it. Her Instagram feed reveals a separated life, usually through vacation photos taken with her boyfriend, Ross Mechanic.
