Metro Nashville police released this photo of a Nashville, Tenn., fitness center on June 4, 2018, saying that murder victim Joel Paavola ran this location.

Domenic Micheli went to a Gallatin urgent care facility Monday morning, Metro Nashville police said Tuesday.

Surveillance photos released by police shows a man entering the facility have a timestamp of 8:16 a.m., which would have been more than an hour after a fatal Belle Meade hatchet attack in which Micheli is suspected.

Gallatin police said the man in the photo asked the urgent care for a suture kit but was not willing to wait or provide any personal information. He left without receiving any treatment or medical supplies, police said.

An hour later, Micheli visited a Gallatin drug store where he bought medical items, Nashville police said. They released surveillance footage of him checking out at the store.

Micheli was limping from a left leg injury and should be considered armed and dangerous, Gallatin police said.

Micheli's Facebook page featured cryptic posts in which he referred to himself as a "cosmic messenger," and explaining that he was the "Sun of God."

(his choice of spelling)

Among his lengthy posts, Micheli regularly discussed Judaism and Israel.

In April, Micheli posted that he was "going to a Jewish (sic) temple" wearing a red robe and would have "two small knives and a hatchet" in his car, though in an earlier post denied he was anti-Semitic.

Domenic Micheli

SUBMITTED BY METRO NASHVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Micheli was arrested less than two months ago for trying to gain access to the White House grounds.

According to the United States Secret Service, Micheli was arrested on the evening of April 27 for Unlawful Entry and Failure to Obey when he tried to breach a vehicle checkpoint.

According to a report from D.C. Police Department, around 10:45 p.m. that night in April, Micheli drove up to a checkpoint near the White House complex and was told by an officer that only authorized vehicles could enter. Micheli reportedly refused to move his car after receiving several warnings and was arrested and charged with unlawful entry and failure to obey.

This is the type of person that should be on FBI radar. It doesn’t matter if you take guns away from law-abiding citizens, people who are determined to commit a crime will find a way.

I pray for the Paavola family.

A GoFundMe campaign started in the wake of Monday's fatal hatchet attack in Belle Meade has far surpassed its goal to raise $75,000 to support the victim's family.

I agree Lexy… If you are arrested for any reason "near the Whitehouse" that should automatically put you on the list. We need to start getting tough on those who disrespect our laws… Period.

I guess the libs will be looking to ban hatchets now.

Seems like the FBI only watches the people they aren't supposed to, like an opposition political campaign!
