The world was stunned after a viral video that purportedly shows a young girl telling President Trump he's a disgrace started circulating on social media. Currently, the video has hundreds of thousands of retweets on Twitter, but it's not real. The clip is satisfying for those who believe the president needs to be called out to his face. But the video is completely fake.
The clip went viral on Twitter yesterday, with countless people believing it was a young girl speaking truth to the most powerful man in the world. However, Comedy Central produced the clip in its series "The President Show" which was shared by hundreds of thousands of people on social media over the weekend. The video clip shows Trump impersonator and show host Anthony Atamanuik from behind. The clip is also cropped to hide Comedy Central's logo.
There’s some question as to whether the young girl’s response is genuine, but the way in which everything is set up, she could very well be an actor herself. A closer look on the original video, one can notice that Trump is clearly fake. Furthermore, he even agrees with the young girl that he’s a disgrace; something that Trump would never do.
Many people overlooked the tiny details in the clip and as a result they fell for the fake video. The impersonation fooled thousands of Twitter users, who angrily responded to the fake Trump's words.
One of the Twitter users najahtaa, who captioned the video “who is she,” has racked up over 150,000 retweets and 220,000 likes so far and clearly has no intention of pulling it, despite the fact that’s it’s being passed around as real.
The video shows Atamanuik telling a young girl at a Tax Day protest that she is a disgrace, only for the girl to respond you're a disgrace to the world.
Despite being fake, many people on social media don’t seem to care, which certainly speaks to the fact that lefties just want a win any win. The little girl said what so many people want to say to the real Donald Trump.
