Stephen Pitt, the Forensic psychologist who worked on the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation as well as the Columbine shooting was shot dead outside of his office this weekend. Pitt was hired as a consultant by the Boulder Police Department and district attorney in early 1997 shortly after the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey. Pitt also worked with the Phoenix Police Department's task force to track down the Baseline Killer, Mark Godeau.

Police are warning locals in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area to remain vigilant as they believe his shooting was related to the murders of two women in Scottsdale on Friday. The two women shot and killed in Scottsdale on Thursday worked at the law office of Burt, Feldman, Grenier at 7509 East First Street. Veleria Sharp, 48, and Laura Anderson, 49, were employed as paralegals.
"Right now, we do not know if the shooting at the business behind us is related to the previous two shootings," Scottsdale police spokesperson sergeant Benjamin Hoster said at a media briefing.
Marshall Levine of Peak Life Solutions, a licensed professional counselor, hypnotherapist and "life coach" specializing in relationship issues was the latest murder victim. According to the sketch from the Scottsdale Police the "outstanding suspect" has him as a balding man with a black cap.
