POTUS Appoints Rear Admiral Douglas Fears as Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Advisor

The President of the United States of America has continued his preference of hiring the finest men and women of the United States of America's Armed Forces, with the recent announcement for an appointment of Rear Admiral Douglas Fears to becoming a Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Advisor on the National Security Staff.

The announcement comes from the President Donald J. Trump's National Security Advisor Ambassador John Bolton, who offered praise of Rear Admiral Fears as a man of integrity and honored public service.

“Doug Fears brings more than three decades of experience across a range of vital homeland security areas including counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and disaster response to the NSC,” said National Security Advisor John Bolton. “Doug will serve as the President’s Homeland Security Advisor and my point person on an array of vital tasks ranging from overseeing the NSC Cybersecurity Directorate to coordinating the interagency efforts during disaster response.”

Prior to his appointment, Fears served as the Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Resilience Policy at the National Security Council, which primes him for the role of ensuring America's best practices of defense are made accessible to help the President decide on policy through intelligence gathering and maximal resources.

Rear Admiral Fears will serve as a replacement to Tom Bossert, who offered his resignation after the appointment of Ambassador John Bolton, exposing Bossert’s desire to place his pride and ego before the safety and security of the United States of America.

Despite Bossert’s inability to decide upon putting America first, the Trump Administration wished him the best of luck with his endeavors in the future, again proving that this President is a man filled with class.

"The President is grateful for Tom's commitment to the safety and security of our great country,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said. “President Trump thanks him for his patriotic service and wishes him well.”

As per the new appointment, Rear Admiral Fears will be granted the official title of Deputy Assistant to the President, making him just beneath Ambassador John Bolton, who holds the official title of Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.

This Administration has issued its commitment to not only securing the borders of the United States of America but protecting our assets along trade routes and facilitating the safety and security of American interests around the globe.

Hmmm

Since when does a career as a Naval officer who spent most of his career at sea, qualify someone to be Head of Homeland Security and counter terrorism?

The short answer: IT DOESN'T!
