Nasty Dems Throw Water, Attack Fox News Conservative Pundit Tomi Lahren

Fox News pundit Tomi Lahren was having a pleasant Sunday brunch in Minneapolis when things took a turn for the extreme and certainly uncalled for as someone threw water at her just as she was about to leave the rooftop cafe.

Video footage from Snapchat shows a still unidentified woman throwing a glass of water at Lahren as she was about to exit from the UNION rooftop bar in downtown Minneapolis.

Another video posted on social media shows the Fox News commentator confront the woman who rudely threw a glass of water at her. Heard in the background are other UNION patrons swearing violently at Lahren, calling her a racist and screaming at her to get out of the establishment.

Even more unfortunate is that Lahren happened to be with her mother at the time of the nasty encounter. The mom was involved in the argument, but in the end, mother-and-daughter opted to choose the more peaceful path and left the restaurant and the “angry mob.”

Lahren decided to dine downtown at that time since she just had a show at the nearby Pantages Theater Saturday night.

There’s no denying that Lahren is a controversial figure, if not divisive, to some people’s perspectives. She is very vocal and firm with her strong views on immigration and pro-gun policies.

But is it not kind of troubling when some people who strongly disagree with another’s views and opinions feel they have the license to attack, harm and threaten a person while she or he is spending private time with whoever they’re with, especially family?

Whatever has happened to dialogue and healthy discourse, debate and discussions? Aren’t Democrats and liberals the first to banner the values of democracy and freedom?

Even President Donald Trump weighed in on what was done to Lehran and even tweeted: “Everybody is with Tomi Lahren, a truly outstanding and respected young woman! @foxandfriends “

Lahren tweeted back her appreciation for everyone who has stood up for her on the incident, and those who called out the behavior of those who attacked her physically and verbally. She posted: “I appreciate the words of support even from those who normally dislike me.”

Lahren also stressed: “Free speech is a gift- no need to resort to that kind of attack.”

It is not clear yet whether Lahren is planning to take actions to establish the identities of those who attacked her and to file the necessary charges, if needed.

We wonder what Democrats and liberals would have done if that same kind of hostile and mean attack was done instead to a member of a minority group? Wouldn’t they raise hell and scream racism and abuse? But their kind can democratically do it to those who oppose their views? What pathetic, absurd and unfair double standard.
