Families of unfortunate test subjects of Dr. Ewan Cameron's CIA sponsored MK-Ultra mind control research are considering a class action lawsuit. The CIA's MK-Ultra program ran from 1953 to 1976 officially. Among the declassified files are the descriptions of psychological horror and grossly unethical human experimentation, often on unwitting test subjects. The family of the deceased Phyllis Goldberg says she's spent the last 20 years of her life as a "complete vegetable" regressed to the stage of a literal infant and unable to care for herself at all. A far cry from the bright and ambitious 19-year-old nurse to be ruined by the MK-Ultra program.
She was to be treated for "mild depression" but ended up a part of Dr. Cameron's cruel experiments. After which, Phyllis could barely stand to be touched.
“When you went to pat her, just as a gesture, she would cringe,” Levenson said. “That bewildered me – not realizing, or understanding, she had electric shock equipment put on her head so many times that it [remained] in her subconscious.”

Dr. Cameron was surprisingly honored as the first chairman of the World Psychiatric Association, and also served as president of both American and Canadian psychiatric associations. The CIA recruited him to help with research after being intrigued by his "psychic driving" theories which they felt could be used to "break" spies. Cameron was paid around $69,000 between 1957 and 1964 to conduct MK-Ultra related research into mind control. The experiments combined LSD, shock therapy, paralytic drugs, medically induced comas and there are also allegations of sexual abuse.
Since the statute of limitations is up families are seeking punitive damages and a public apology. 77 former MK-Ultra patients were compensated in 1992, but some were not eligible as they could not definitively prove that their lasting psychological damage (which ran the gamut from incontinence, amnesia and childlike regression) came from the unauthorized and largely illegal experiments of Dr. Cameron.

Much of the MK-Ultra experimentation was done through McGill University which, coincidentally, is the university that the billionaire Bronfman sisters were educated through. The Bronfmans are, of course, responsible for bankrolling Keith Raniere's NXIVM mind control cult.
