The Gun Owners of America organization has issued a statement about the liberal hypocrisy when it comes to “gun control” in the United States of America, saying that “Liberals have created safe zones where victims cannot defend themselves,” in an honest description of modern American society.

The Democratic Party continues to allow atrocities to occur where children are being gunned down in the classroom by mentally ill criminals and would-be liberal domestic terrorists, yet refuses to comply with a much-needed arming of our school teachers and placement of armed guards inside of educational facilities to protect our children.
Americans are tired of hearing about school shootings when they know they can easily be prevented with the proper safety measures in place to provide security for the students of America's classrooms.
It's not difficult, nor is it a price too heavy to pay to ensure these children are protected.

Metal detectors should be at every entranceway into public schools, and all exits should be guarded with either electronic security systems and armed guards.
There are undoubtedly numerous unemployed or returning American Veterans who are willing to take on the role of security to protect the future of this country.
The solutions are simple, and the lack of progress being made is frustrating.

If Democrats were concerned with protecting the lives of children, then they'd ban taxpayer funding of organizations such as Planned Parenthood, which murders more children in one year than firearms have in a century.
It's not about protecting children, at least not for Democrats.
It all boils down to the Democratic Party’s desire to see weapons “banned” or restricted, an obstruction of the Second Amendment in which will give criminals a free reign of terror over law-abiding Americans.
Gun Owners of America’s Erich Pratt said that “Liberals refuse to admit that guns are used far more often to save lives than to take them, ” a fact which resonates well with an American family who understands that criminals simply do not follow the law.
People are easily able to recognize that in the current environment of “gun-free zones” on campuses and in public schools, that these places often become targets of those with homicidal tendencies, or whatever their intention may be, as easily as shooting fish in a barrel.

Countless schools across America have enacted policies such as naming a Director of Security and arming teachers as a fail-safe, and those schools have become a worry-free environment for parents who unwillingly must task that teacher with protecting the lives of their sons and daughters when they drop them off in the classroom.
There isn't a parent in this country who hasn't at least had the thought cross their minds or worry about the safety of their child's schools.

Those parents undoubtedly feel much safer knowing that such protection exists in these schools, understanding that the last line of defense is in place to promote the safety of their child's lives.
This should be a nationwide mandate, and both sides of Congress should come together to require that “gun-free zones” are changed to being made known that “we have armed guards on campus,” and they're trained and adequately prepared to take down any would be threats to their students.
Most teachers love their students and have taken an oath to protect them at all costs. Being a trapped hen in the coop while a wolf is coming to eat your chicks isn't a proper way of defending the henhouse. This must change.

We can do better as a nation. We should never hear of another incident where a shooter can gain access to an educational facility with a firearm of any sort and mass murder children.
Every person who enters the premises should be required to go through the proper screening measures to ensure that they're unarmed, and in a worst-case scenario where a deranged lunatic comes in with guns drawn, firing into a crowd… the threat should be eliminated before they can take multiple lives.
This is how we keep society, and more importantly our children safe.

I guess thats ok if only liberials use them! Times have changed to bad now we have to make changes to our schools! The only thing that wiil protect them is a good guywith a gun! U cant expect to stop an attack if u dont have the same force to repel the attack! Ull only get other people killed!
