MOMENTS After Texas Shooting CNN Spreads Fake News Statistics Pushing Gun Control

CNN has acknowledged almost zero moral boundaries, but their continued desire to embarrass themselves by propagating fake news statistics within just minutes of the school shooting in Sante Fe, Texas on Friday is borderline disturbing.

CNN’s own National Security Correspondents Jim Sciutto and White House Correspondent Sara Murray simultaneously engaged in what appears to be <i>coordinated ignorance and fake news</i>, tweeting that the total school shootings for the year have now reached the 22, despite that claim being wholly inaccurate.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">This brings the number of U.S. school shootings this year to 22. <a href="https://t.co/hS7KKFiO65">https://t.co/hS7KKFiO65</a></p>&mdash; Jim Sciutto (@jimsciutto) <a href="https://twitter.com/jimsciutto/status/997491324956958725?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 18, 2018</a></blockquote>

Local Media KHOU in Texas presented the facts in a reasonable way, to which all known information could be separated between verified and false.

This is a far more accurate means of diagnosing breaking news, and it's how we at The Goldwater present our facts as well.

We will not report speculation as fact, and we make sure that any incoming information is verified through a trusted source such as law enforcement before publishing to ensure that were not pushing out speculative details or something that could cause victims or the families to go into a panic.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Here’s how we’re handling all the information coming into <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/KHOU11?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#KHOU11</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/tegna?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#tegna</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/verify?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#verify</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/TEGNA?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@TEGNA</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SantaFe?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SantaFe</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SantaFeHighSchool?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SantaFeHighSchool</a> <a href="https://t.co/e9D20X8yzN">pic.twitter.com/e9D20X8yzN</a></p>&mdash; Tiffany KHOU (@TiffanyKHOU) <a href="https://twitter.com/TiffanyKHOU/status/997547730267529216?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 18, 2018</a></blockquote>

It's not as if CNN has millions of dollars in their budget to allow them to similarly pick up a phone and call the local police stations to confirm the total shootings at schools or anything (that's a free phone call, by the way).

Journalism isn't difficult when you're reporting statistics and facts. All of which are easily verifiable at the ends of your fingertips with simple phone calls or internet searches.

Somehow CNN thinks that adding in statistics of accidental firearm discharges, domestic disputes, and other incidents which didn't involve students in any way, shape, or form could define itself as a “school shooting,” which is entirely untrue.

The<a href="https://www-m.cnn.com/2018/03/02/us/school-shootings-2018-list-trnd/index.html"> list of “average school shootings” provided by CNN </a>is complete and utter propaganda and has been discredited by almost every reputable media outlet in America.

It just goes to show that CNN is bolstered in ratings by artificial viewers due to airport terminal contracts, and they'll propagate any lie, as long as it fits their narrative.

When talking about the nations MSM really find it hard to comment anymore because the whole idea of reporting is GONE- thank GOD we have new sources of good reporting on the way but the old standard ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, NPR, etc are so corrupted that it’s heartbreaking to think that we have millions who still think them valid news sources and therefore have been fully indoctrinated with LIES and misrepresentations.

If their going to try and ban guns they better start on alcholo and cars! Cause drunk drivers kill more innocent kids then school shootets! So ban cars from everyone! Same logic!
