Life is a complex affair that has a way of exposing our true nature. People can talk the talk, but when it comes to actual life or death situations, it’s very hard to stand tall. That was the case when a cashier at a Jimmy John's shop in Kansas City proved that he might be the most bad-ass Jimmy John's cashier walking the face of the earth.
Based on a footage released by Kansas City Police, the cashier was approached by a man rocking a hoodie on Wednesday night around 9:15 p.m. and proceeded to order a sandwich.
Everything unfolded well until the hoodie-rocking dude pulled out a gun. Shortly after pulling out the gun, the robber pointed the gun square at the cashier's face. Surprisingly, the cashier appeared to be unphased while handing over a bunch of money.
Some people have reported that it looked like the gun actually jammed, so while this guy was Stonewall Jackson up in the robber's face, he might have realized that the gun wouldn't be going off.
Whichever the case, the cashier deserves a medal for the composure he maintained during an actual robbery. He either didn’t mind about his life or his job. He was seen picking up the entire drawer from the register very comfortably.
The Kansas City police have expressed their gratitude to the public’s tips after they identified and arrested the man accused of pulling out a gun while ordering a sandwich at a Jimmy John’s.
