Batting .500: Arkansas Executes Fourth

Update: Williams was pronounced dead at 11:05 pm, a little less than an hour before his death warrant was set to expire. He convulsed for ten seconds roughly 3 minutes into the execution, which lasted 13 minutes.

Kenneth Williams was laughing at the jury members when they sentenced him to life in prison for torturing and killing a university cheerleader. Then he killed a prison guard and was sentenced to death.

He's not laughing now. He's going to die soon unless the liberal judges can save him. Prospects aren't looking good for the 38-year old soon-to-be dead man.

The Governor and Attorney General of Arkansas are putting the pedal to the metal at the death chamber. And if they manage to kill Williams today, they'll be batting 500. Sorry for the mixed metaphor.

The initial plan was to kill 8 sick bastards before the State's death drugs expire at the end of the month. Liberal judges jumped out of the woodwork and initially stopped all of them. Then, good old governor, Asa Hutchinson stepped up to the plate and promised the families of the victim's justice.

They got a double dose on Monday. Here's the play-by-play:

In 1994, Marcel Williams committed armed robbery then kidnapped, raped and murdered Stacy Erickson, a young mother of two. Williams confessed to the crime and was sentenced to death by a jury of his peers. And now he's dead.

In 1995, Jack Jones raped and killed Mary Philips and then tried to kill her 11-year-old daughter. He was also convicted of another rape and killing in Florida. He was sentenced to death by a jury of his peers. And now he's dead.

Sounds fair to me. Stay tuned to the Goldwater for updates and let us know if you agree with the death penalty.
