Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdoagn is left with so little opposition that he started referring to himself in the plural form. During a televised speech yesterday he stated that his foes “have just one care, to destroy Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. If, one day, our nation says ‘enough’, then we will move to the side.”

Predicting victory for himself and his AKP party in the upcoming election, the Turkish President added: "God willing, I believe we will, together with our nation, on June 24 once again give a well-deserved lesson to this team of destruction."

His AKP party is highly favored to win, but most of his political opponents are either in jail or have no media outlets to support them.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Dear foreigners, if you wonder what the heck this &quot;T A M A M&quot; is, Erdogan said he would leave his seat and palace if only his nation tell him &quot;tamam&quot; (means more or less enough). So now everybody tweets <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/tamam?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#tamam</a> in Turkey 😏 <a href="https://t.co/BbHJhG0VHN">pic.twitter.com/BbHJhG0VHN</a></p>&mdash; Tülin Aydın (@TulinAydin) <a href="https://twitter.com/TulinAydin/status/993861922784149504?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 8, 2018</a></blockquote>

The millennial generation of Turks, knowing full well what the rest of the world thinks of the Turkish leader, reacted swiftly and within a few hours the hashtag #TAMAM, the Turkish word for ‘Enough’ was trending on Twitter and other social media sites.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">&quot;T A M A M&quot; is a world trend now with almost 2 million tweets and Erdogan has already started to detain <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TAMAM?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#TAMAM</a> demonstrators! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Enough?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Enough</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Brunson?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Brunson</a> <a href="https://t.co/0XZeeqFfgG">pic.twitter.com/0XZeeqFfgG</a></p>&mdash; Ahmet S. So much so that by end of the day, it was the number one topic worldwide.

In the end, two million people declared that they had ‘enough’ of Erdogan.
