Officials in Rockdale County in Georgia confirmed that investigators made a massive weapons and drug bust over the weekend.
Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office got a warrant and raided a suspected drug dealer’s home on Golfview Terrace in Conyers on Friday.
Eight loaded military-style guns, ammo, a bulletproof vest and “trafficking amounts” of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana were confiscated during the raid.
Residents expressed shock that something illegal was going on in their neighborhood and they were clueless about it. Interviewed by a local television station, Kenny Bingham said: “It’s shocking, man. I wouldn’t have expected it. I didn’t know it was, like, down there.”
More alarming was the fact that investigators discovered that one of the suspects, 29-year-old Lewis Jabari Jones, had his 6-year-old daughter living in the same home. Officers said they found a loaded gun and drugs next to the little girl’s backpack, something that could have put her life and safety in danger.
Jones and his girlfriend, Charity McCullar, were arrested for their irresponsible acts as parents. Police allowed a relative to take custody of the girl.

I agree with Andrew. Referring to firearms as "military style" does nothing to help with the preservation of the 2nd amendment.
Military style = looks like a military firearm but in reality is just a semi automatic firearm that looks the part and in a lot of cases is much less effective than a hunting rifle.
A better term than "military style" is "sporting firearm" or something like "a neutered military looking firearm". As someone with lots of experience with real military firearms, most of these sporting firearms have completely redesigned internals that prevent conversion into the real deal easily, with some being very unreliable or just plain junk.
These animals only had 2 or 3 weapons I could make out that are useable and they are the 1911, glock, and the other real pistol, not the shitty AK variant pistol. And two of these could also be called actual military firearms as hey were used by armed forces as handguns. For protecting their drug den the short shot slinger would also be effective, but the others are just to look scary.
Bottom line is take away or impede our 2nd amendment and these types of a$$holes will be the only people armed besides the police.
