After another murderous weekend with 11 different incidents (shootings, stabbings and acid attacks) saw 4 people being killed during the bank holiday, London once again took the brunt of the violence in a year that seems to top any other when it comes to crimes.
Having clearly had enough of the seemingly unending spiral of violence, Good Morning Britain presenter Mr Piers Morgan called on his highly watched morning show to the London Mayor Sadiq Khan to ‘stop hiding’ and come on to explain to Londoners what he would do to end the violence.

Mr Morgan asked his public: “How do we end this violence? Well in the absence of the mayor of London and the Home Secretary both of whom we’ve invited on this program, and if Sadiq Khan is watching this, what are you hiding from?”

In a response to the latest violent weekend, the Mayor of London released another statement saying he was ‘heartbroken’ and said: “Keeping Londoners safe is my top priority.”
