Germany - 200 Africans Attack Police Deporting Illegal From Ellwangen Refugee Centre

Police in Germany encountered a large group of aggressive Africans at the refugee shelter in Ellwangen when they tried to pick up one of them who was supposed to be deported today. Three police trucks were attacked and since backup units were not available for several hours, the police had to return and let the action be rescheduled.

German tabloid press is asking today whether police forces still have power in their own country as it would appear that it is unclear when the man will now be arrested.

A policeman who wanted to remain anonymous described the situation: "They were so aggressive and threatened us more and more, so we had to leave the man behind and retreat to the LEA guard."

According to the police, the migrants starting banging on the three patrol cars which got severely damaged. In the end, a security officer appointed by the migrants as a middleman told the police their ultimatum: they had to remove the handcuffs from the 23-year-old Congolese young man within two minutes or the group of 200 migrants would storm the gate.
