In 2013 FBI contacted Florida authorities when Sky Bouche, now 19, “[triggered] an internet alarm by making inappropriate YouTube comments on Columbine school shooting videos,” according to a press release from the Ocala Police Department.
<div style="width:100%;text-align:center;margin:0 auto;"><iframe width="360" height="202" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/cYxXjSdrKzs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
According to the press release, Bouche posted comments such as: “I’m thinking about doing my school the same way, I have enough guns and ammo. I have been planning for months, but not sure when to do it.
Officials interviewed Bouche, who admitted to making the comments but said he did so to “gather attention because he felt hopeless,” according to the press release.
Following the interview, officials searched Bouche’s home for firearms. They found several replicas of guns, such as air-soft BB guns and pellet guns.
According to the Ocala Police, Bouche was referred to suicidal and violence risk assessments and there were no criminal charges filed against him in the 2013 incident.
Bouche shot a student at Forest High School n Ocala Florida, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Bouche faces five charges for the shooting, including terrorism and aggravated assault with a firearm, according to the sheriff’s office.
He is currently being held at the Marion County jail on no bond.
How was Bouche able to get a gun? Why didn’t the FBI report this mental health and criminal behavior into the federal system, enabling his name to appear on a background check? There were definitely signs of these behaviors.
Why isn’t this shooting being broadcast by the left? Does someone have to die for it to be important to them? Why is it that the only school shootings that are publicized are the ones that have so many questionable details?

The hypocrisy from the left has become so part of “the norm”, it reminds me of that episode The Eye of the Beholder on the sci-fi series The Twilight Zone.

When are we going to re-open Mental Institutions? It's not inhumane… to protect Law Abiding Free citizens from crazies!!
What's inhumane is unstable ppl walking streets Killing Innocents!! Take our wasted tax dollars and build more mental hospitals again!! Lexy - Great article, Keep them coming, be OUR Conservative Voice!!! Thank You.
I live just minutes from that high school and drove by it that morning. From the police activity, I knew it had been a shooting. The local media picked it up in Orlando and Tampa, plus CNN and USA Today. It didn't meet their political agenda because no one died, so the gun control propaganda wasn't pushed much.
Mental or "behavioral health" hospitals are part of the problem & not the solution for many. If you wanna bust a story wide open… Do one on the "behavioral health" hospitals in this country. Once you've explored them…you'll understand why they, among our other systems are failing.
Love your articles and the fact that you are tackling those difficult subjects so often ignored with a “common sense” perspective
Keep the articles coming Lexy. I hope you can wake up some people on the Left.
