The airline industry seems to have deteriorated at such a rapid rate. The number of incidents that are being reported is just alarming. A footage has emerged showing an American Airlines employee challenging a passenger to a fight after allegedly hitting a woman with a stroller on a domestic flight.
The shocking footage was filmed before Flight 591 departed from San Francisco on Friday afternoon. It shows the airline staff member goading a passenger as he proves him to engage in a fight.
The video was uploaded by passenger Surain Adyanthaya, who explained he started filming after the flight attendant violently took a stroller from a lady with her baby on the flight, hitting her and just missing the baby.
Adyanthaya pointed out that the mother and her kids were escorted involuntarily off the flight and then the flight attendant was let back on. The attendant then tried to fight other passengers. Unfortunately, the mom asked for an apology and the AA official declined.
The video shows a distressed woman standing at the front of the plane holding a child. The woman can also be seen sobbing and asks staff members to get her stroller back. The other passengers are also heard expressing their disgust at the situation.
One of the passengers stands and says he's not going to sit and watch the disgusting incident, he then gets up and walks to the front of the plane to confront flight attendants. The man asks for the name of the employee who is alleged to have hit the crying woman.
Shortly after the situation escalates, a man in an American Airlines uniform boards the plane. The man who got up out of his seat to intervene confronts the uniformed employee.
After confrontation, the employee challenges the man to a fight him. Adyanthaya posted another photo on his Facebook page showing the woman with two young children believed to be twins in her arms. The photo shows her being escorted off of the plane.
Adyanthaya points out that the woman was removed and the employee who supposedly was violent toward her was permitted back on the plane.
American Airlines released a statement late Friday saying that it was disappointed by these actions and that it had already started to investigate the incident. The airline also emphasized that what was seen on the video does not reflect its values or how it cares for its customers.
