A high school teacher in Virginia found out the hard way that showing two sex videos produced by a YouTube personality in class may not have been such a great idea. Frank Lawson, the head of physical education department at Western Albermarle High School in Crozet, was yanked out of class and put on administrative leave after showing the "highly offensive" sex videos.

Laci Green, a Los Angeles-based sex educator whose YouTube channel has more than 1.4 million subscribers, is the creator of the videos that landed Lawson on administrative leave. Lawson showed the videos to a class of freshman girls which the school was not happy about. "It was highly offensive, entirely inappropriate for a student audience and school administrators called each family on April 13 to apologize for its use," chairwoman of Albemarle County School Board, Kate Acuff said.
It's not clear which of Green's videos were shown to the class, but some of her past YouTube videos have included videos titled, "You Can’t POP Your Cherry!", "The Truth About Pulling Out," "How to Help Her Orgasm", and "Squirting 101", and "Freaky Labia". Acuff told parents in an email, "The video was not previously screened by the school, which was a violation of our standard practice."

Phil Giaramita, a spokesman for Albemarle County Public Schools, confirmed Lawson will remain on administrative leave until the investigation is complete. Green addressed the controversy herself on Twitter saying parents should see sex education as a way to "open up a conversation" with their children about sex. "Keeping that dialogue open lets them know they can *talk to you* about the VERY NORMAL feelings and experiences they’re having. It is also a way to build trust and discuss your values."

Green also told parents they could contact her directly if they had any further questions or concerns. "My inbox is always open to discuss," Green said. "Just like it has always been open to the 75,000 young adults who have secretly emailed me their sex ed questions the past decade because they had nobody else to ask."

I'm very sorry but showing kids this rubbish is a clear act of promoting porn (which was declared a public health crisis in the US) so why on earth are teachers waking up desires in teens that will hurt them? this is not promoting abstinence but rather promoting promiscuity
