A woman from Spain who is not exactly into social media is gaining a lot of fame ironically on social media for the unlikeliest of reasons- bearing a strong resemblance with the most powerful man in the world, President Donald Trump.

A journalist happened to be reporting about farming in northwestern Spain when he spotted 64-year-old Dolores Leis dressed in farm clothing with a hoe over her shoulder. The photo was posted and shared on Instagram, eliciting thousands of interesting responses.

Leis was photographed while standing in the middle of her farming plot, her frowning face looking away from the camera, and her blond hair held by a diadem, has since garnered a lot of fans online.
Memes, photoshopped images, and other funny comments are also circulating online. The woman since being “discovered” has since been asked to comment on the burning U.S. policy issues and international affairs, although it is rather glaring that she is more concerned about a moth plague threatening her potato crops rather than say, terrorism, China, Kim Jong Un or Vladimir Putin.
She says she believes she shares the same hair color with the controversial American President. What is starkly different between the two of them, though, is that she doesn’t use mobile phones and has little interest for social media.
Some of the funny comments about the striking resemblance between the woman-farmer and Trump include one who called Leis “Trump’s Galician sister” and started a call to research the president’s family roots in the Costa da Morte, or Death Coast, the rocky shore in northwestern Spain with long history of shipwrecks.
Leis has lived in the same town where she was “discovered” since she married her husband four decades ago. She works at home and at her farm, where the reporter spotted her last week while she was planting potatoes.
The sudden fame does not overwhelm or even affect her, though. While she would look at everything that her daughters would show her about the said instant fame, she finds it easy to ignore the online buzz. It helps not having a smart phone to fidget.
