Longtime associate of both Bill and Hillary Clinton, Alexander Downer, commenced to respond to an interview about his affiliation with former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos on ABC, but he refused to answer about his own personal connections to Papadopoulos or whether the Clintons are behind the investigation into the Trump campaign, but we now know he is the original source of the entire witch hunt against the President.
Without a shadow of a doubt the propaganda being pushed about alleged “Russian collusion” originates with the “Clinton Crime Family” and the “Deep State,” since Hillary Clinton was first to spew the propagandist efforts on her campaign trail.
First and foremost, we know that the fraudulent dossier from Fusion GPS was not only filled with outright lies but that the Hillary Clinton for President Campaign paid for it. We also know that the Federal Bureau of Investigation, at the time led by then-Director James Comey, was spearheaded into a flight to Rome to meet with former MI6 member and contractor of Fusion GPS Christopher Steele.
What inherent reason does Fusion GPS have to be cooperating with the FBI to smear a candidate for President? How is that not the FBI interfering in a Presidential election? Well, it is.
We also know that Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal was one of the sources for the Christopher Steele dossier.
It's also common knowledge that Bill Clinton's longtime personal friend, Alexander Downer, engaged in numerous conversation at nightclubs and bars with George Papadopoulos and that the details of those conversations somehow made their way into the black hats of the FBI.
Not to mention the fact that the Special Counsel appointed to head the entire case, Robert Mueller, along with Comey, Bruce Ohr, Peter Strzok, Rod Rosenstein, or anyone else involved with either the coverup of Hillary's crimes or the current alleged “Trump-Russia” investigations are either directly connected to the Clintons through Uranium One or the Clinton Foundation.
Literally, everything that has occurred thus far against the President of the United States of America can be traced back to the Clintons.
One person is certainly paying attention to all of this, and that's the House Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman, Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA), who tweeted, “New information tonight. Very interesting…” back in March after Downer was named as a Clinton associate.

Nunes has been keeping a close eye on those connected to Papadopoulos, and witnessing Attorney General Jeff Sessions alongside the Office of the Inspector General via Michael Horowitz build a monumental case to take down the corruption of the previous administration.
The Hill wrote of Downer:
<blockquote>”The Australian diplomat whose tip in 2016 prompted the Russia-Trump investigation previously arranged one of the largest foreign donations to Bill and Hillary Clinton's charitable efforts, documents show.”</blockquote>
So not only does Alexander Downer have ties to the Clintons, but his also a former Australian Foreign Minister, who went out of his way to assist the FBI by giving them an alleged “tip” about the Trump campaign being connected to Russia, but he has current ties as well.
The Hill continues:

Yes, the man who first tipped off the Federal Bureau of Investigation about supposed Trump campaign connections to Russia has a literal fortune invested into dealings with the Clintons.
That doesn't strike you as a <i>conflict of interest?</i>

It certainly should. While critics of Sessions rant and rave about what they perceive as inaction, Nunes made it very clear in his interview yesterday that the OIG and AG want to bring everyone to justice who played a role in this entire illicit surveillance and investigation.

There's so much more to uncover, as you can see, and with each passing day, we find additional connections of interest that no doubt the Department of Justice via Attorney General Jeff Sessions and newly appointed special Prosecutor John Huber are investigating, as well as awaiting the Inspector General Report.
What happens next is anyone's guess, but Downer himself may see himself in shiny silver handcuffs when this investigation is over, with it seems more likely that he was a Clinton plant rather than a “concerned” Australian who just so happened to tip off the FBI, that began this entire witch hunt against the President of the United States of America.
