The Democratic National Committee has announced their latest distraction - a lawsuit against the Trump Campaign, Wikileaks, and Russia - in what's no doubt an effort to control the news cycle - but will it backfire on them?

In the Democratic National Committee (DNC) lawsuit, the political party suggests that Russia is responsible for some kind of<i>"brazen attack on American democracy"</i>, blaming the foreign nation for a cyber attack on their committee servers which led to the inevitable “DNC leaks.”
What the DNC doesn't bother mentioning is the numerous questionable facts which were exposed to the American people as a result of those leaks, and instead seems to be blaming others for their criminal behavior.
The problem with the DNC lawsuit is that they're naming Russia as the cause for the hack which occurred, without any evidence showing that there was ever a hack, or who was responsible.

As if that's not ignorant enough, they're then attempting to hold a media outlet, Wikileaks, accountable for publishing the truth which was found in the DNC leaks, Podesta emails, and numerous other series of exposures that undoubtedly gave the American voters a clear picture of how much corruption was occurring inside the Democratic Party.
Keep in mind Hillary Clinton once suggested that Barack Obama order a tactical <i>drone strike</i> against Julian Assange, founder and editor of Wikileaks.
Millions of Americans and freedom-loving citizens across the globe believe that the organization known as Wikileaks is one of the most honest and integrity-filled media outlets in the world, one that doesn't choose partisan politics in its releases.
If Wikileaks is provided any information, whether it be from the United States of America's government, from a political party, or any other organization, it publishes it.
They're not picking and choosing as to a specific side to take, and during the 2016 Presidential elections, Wikileaks released any information they were given. It just so happens that the information given happened to be about the highly corrupt Democratic Party.
This lawsuit is laughable in this sense, considering that this would mean that every negative story that runs about any political candidate could then, in turn, become a lawsuit as well, an absolute trampling upon freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
Instead of telling the American people something along the lines of, “Hey, we nominated a corrupt candidate in Hillary Clinton, our DNC chair Donna Brazile cheated, her campaign manager John Podesta was crooked,” the DNC has chosen to target Wikileaks, a major media outlet with a 100% accuracy rating, and blame Russia, still having zero evidence.
Can the DNC be this moronic to bring up the corruption of the past again? Why not move forward, and let the American people forget about the numerous reasons they chose to not vote for Hillary Clinton and the Democrats?
Actually, just continue to be incredibly ignorant, DNC. It's your failure to move on from the 2016 election that will allow President Trump and the Republicans to continue to win elections.
For the Democratic Party, this is an enormous mistake, and I can imagine most Democratic voters agree. You're not going to gain new voters by refusing to turn the page on your losses, and once again remind people of just how corrupt your party is.

This seems like a distraction from the endless bad news that the Democratic Party continues to have to surround their criminal politicians.
What alternative does the Democratic Party have at this point, except to continue to remind millions of Americans of the corruption which surrounds them?
Meanwhile, Congress has referred numerous Democrats for criminal charges, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, and former FBI Director James Comey.

I'd be more concerned with trying to distance myself from the corruption, if I were leading the Democratic Party, and trying to restore confidence in the ideals the party is supposed to stand for.
Not to mention, you're again reminding supporters of Bernie Sanders that you rigged the election against him in favor of Hillary Clinton.
The Democratic Party has seriously lost their minds.
