The former boxing legend known as The Golden Boy has been losing his shine little by little since he retired from boxing in 2008. A shroud seems to be encompassing the life of Oscar de la Hoya from getting caught cheating on his wife, to abusing cocaine and cross-dressing. Now, the latest scandal surrounding the Golden Boy seems to be in the form of a sex tape.

The former boxer was caught on video by a couple of Instagram models during a rather bizarre sexual act involving kitchen utensils. The two women met de la Hoya on a dating website where he invited them to his luxury condo in Pasadena, California where they filmed him in what is being described as "depraved" sex acts with kitchen utensils.
This is far from the first sex scandal surrounding the retired boxer. A $100 million lawsuit was filed against the person who leaked compromising photos depicting de la Hoya posing in fishnets and heels while wearing boxing gloves. A young woman approached a sex tape broker named Kevin Blatt, but when he saw the tape he immediately contacted the FBI saying "I've seen a lot of shocking videos in my time and this one was incredibly embarrassing. But it was clear to me Oscar had been set up."

If a man who makes his living leaking sex tapes decides to turn one into the FBI, you know there is a good reason. Plus, if the former boxer is willing to hit a leaker of photos with a $100 million lawsuit, what would he do to the leaker of the video? The so-called "Instagram models", code for call girl, were seeking $2 million for the video. They also contacted de la Hoya's ex-wife Shanna Moakler, an actress, and model, saying the tape would reflect poorly on her and her daughter and demanded another $2 million.
The FBI offered the usual, "We cannot confirm and or deny the existence of an investigation" in regards to the sex tape, but knowing he turned it in means there is potential for an investigation already being underway. "The girls even took a picture of his driver’s license to prove it was him, they knew what they were doing, almost as if they had done this before," Blatt said. "In my mind it was outright extortion and I cut ties with them immediately."
