US President Donald Trump reacted in his own fashion to the Russian threat that they would shoot down any missiles coming from the Mediterranean side to their ally Syria this morning, when he sent off his first tweets of the day.
Rebel rousing POTUS clearly stated: “Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”

Mr Trump’s reaction comes hours after Russia’s envoy to Beirut, Mr Alexander Zasypkin, had vowed that the Russian air force, who are stationed in Syria would retaliate: “If there is an American strike, then we… will shoot down the missiles and target the positions from where they were launched,”

The US, France and the UK are considering striking Syria with missiles or airstrikes in the next 72 hours. A Eurocontrol (European air traffic control) warning of possible airstrikes has already been sent out to airports in the neighborhood of the Eastern Mediterranean.
