An illegal immigrant and his wife were arrested Thursday in Montgomery County for impregnating his preteen daughter over twenty years ago. Heraclio Gamez-Nava, 64, and his 55-year-old wife Alicia Vazquez-Carrizales were arrested after being pulled over for a traffic violation near U.S. 59 in Porter, Texas.

When officers questioned Vazquez-Carrizales she lied about her name claiming it was Rosalez. Police also found a hidden ID card that confirmed Gamez-Nava's identity as a man who had a 1995 warrant for his arrest. The warrant claims Gamez-Nava impregnated his 12-year-old daughter and charges him with continuous sexual assault of a minor, younger than 14-years-old/incest.
Gamez-Nava has been on the run since 1995 and his wife has been deported twice, once in 2003 and again in 2014. Vazquez-Carrizales also has an ICE detainer lodged against her and officials say it is likely she will be deported again. Before being deported, Vazquez-Carrizales will have to answer for a misdemeanor charge for hindering the apprehension or prosecution of a known felon.

The excellent work of law enforcement have taken two more dangerous illegal felons off the streets and perhaps the victim will find some small amount of closure knowing that her father will finally face justice for his heinous crime against her. Both Gamez-Nava and Vazquez-Carrizales have been booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
