Saudi crown prince Mr Mohammed Bin Salman has just finished an around the world trip, meeting with, amongst others, the leaders of the UK (PM May) and the US (President Trump) and it looks like he has his work cut out for him at home now as, upon his return, Houthi rebels shot ballistic missiles into the Saudi capital Riyadh overnight, killing one and injuring 2 others.

US-delivered patriot missiles were able to intercept most of the devices as you can see in the hereunder videos.

The Houthi rebels in Yemen have in the meantime claimed responsibility for the attack through their SABA news agency. Most surrounding nations believe the rebels obtain these advanced missiles via Iran.

The original target was the King Khalid International Airport which they tried to strike with Burkan H2 missiles.

They furthermore also fired missiles at Saudi airports in the smaller southern cities of Abha, Jizan and Najran.

Mr Turki al-Malki, a spokesman for the Saudi government, said: "This aggressive and hostile action by the Iran-backed Houthi group proves that the Iranian regime continues to support the armed group with military capabilities."

"The firing of multiple ballistic missiles towards cities is a serious development."

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Yemen DID NOT manufacture the missile, it was likely done in Russia, China, North Korea or IRAN and shipped in.

Look for GAS PRICES TO SPIKE.
