The mud-slinging between the UK and Russian government over the alleged poisoning of a Russian-UK double spy in the town of Salisbury took a new low today when the UK’s Foreign Minister Mr. Boris Johnson compare the usage of the soccer world cup, which will be hosted by Russia over the summer, to Hitler’s Olympics in 1936 which were an event to showcase Nazism.
Speaking at a Commons hearing about the matter, another Member of Parliament, Mr Ian Austin said: "The idea of Putin handing over the World Cup to the captain of the winning team; the idea of Putin using this as a PR exercise to gloss over the brutal, corrupt regime for which he is responsible; it fills me with horror."

To this, Foreign Secretary Mr. Johnson chimed in: "I'm afraid that's completely right, completely right."
