Is it too soon to crack open the Stephen Hawking conspiracy theories? Not if you subscribe to the idea that the famed astrophysicist died in 1985 and was replaced by a clone or body double. Some claim that NASA and others in the scientific community felt he was too powerful and important a voice (vocoder or no) in the scientific community to be allowed to die so (like Paul McCartney) they just found a stand-in and had them take the good doctor's place. Those who subcribe to this theory point out that Hawking supposedly has pictures where his eyes are brown, green or hazel. Now, to be fair, depending on the day and the lighting my eyes tend to look either brown, green, hazel or a mixture of same. More possible "evidence" of Hawking's "body double status" are the claims that he shouldn't have lived as long as he did considering the nature of his degenerative disease.

If this is the case, then Hawking would surely merit a place in the clone/body double/faked death hall of fame alongside Bill Hicks (better known now as Alex Jones) or David Icke (who is actually Richard Branson of course). Oh, and don't forget that Salman Rushdie is actually Stanley Kubrick. Similar to Clark Kent/Superman, except instead of changin the part in his hair and doffing the glasses, Kubrick just brushed his bushy eyebrows up. Considering the fatwa against Rushdie for writing the book The Satanic Verses that earned him the scorn of the Islamic fundamentalist world, you'd think he would have the other alter ego fake his death instead, then again, I guess that would just be more evidence of credence to the theories of Kubrick's ouevre being an expose of the Illuminati.

Many have pointed out how fitting that Hawking died on March 14 (3/14 being Pi day). Others however claim that his death (if he did die, or if it was him, that is) is evidence of the potency of the "Trump curse." Squawker reports that Hawking referred to Trump as a demagogue shortly before his death. Rick Ross, Lindsey Vonn, now Hawking? Well, stranger things have happened and less likely things have turned out to be true, I suppose.
