Police in Peru have arrested a man and accused him of murdering his wife by using an explosive as a sex toy. Ruben Valera Cornejo was arrested after he killed his wife by placing a mortar bomb in her vagina.
According to Cornejo, he was too drunk to remember the events of that night other than recalling a scenario in which his wife asked for various household objects to use as sex toys. The odd request still does not explain how and why Cornejo had a mortar and why he thought it would be a good idea for his wife to insert it inside herself.

When authorities questioned the drunk husband, he recalled that he passed out and when he awoke his wife was unresponsive. Cornejo maintains he is innocent of wrongdoing in his wife's death. Arequipa police chief Javier Arana gave a public statement in which he described the mortar device to be inactive but was very large at around two inches wide and 16 inches long.
Police believe the mortar did not explode, rather it was the size of the object that caused the fatal wounds that took Mrs. Cornejo's life. "Painkillers were also found and it is believed they were used to control the pain," Arana added. The woman has not been named but her father, Washington Llerena has called for justice.
"He should be jailed for what he did with my daughter. I will keep on fighting until the end," Llerena said. The investigation into the victim's death is still ongoing and police have not indicated whether they believe the murder was premeditated.

What in the actual… Was she bound and gagged when they found her body? How do we even know the husband shoved it in there? Maybe she did?
POLICE IQ QUESTIONED.
"Police believe the mortar did not explode…."
I am willing to bet if it had, it would have been obvious to even a 3rd grader.
2.4-inch-wide is not the issue.
16" shoved hard and deep too hard by whoever would be
BTW: The picture of the actual motor round used.
Does BLUE still mean Practice round (inert) ?
