Texas Governor: Dems Obliterating Us In Early Voting

With early voting for the March primary half over, Texas governor Abbott felt the need to send an email to registered Republican voters as they are apparently being outpaced on every level by the Democrats.

Mr Abbott stated: “Numbers of the first week of Early Voting should shock every conservative to their core.”

If statistics are to be believed, then when compared to the first week of early voting back in 2014, Democratic turnout increased a whopping 69 percent, while Republicans saw only a 20 percent increase.

The Texas Governor continued: “Meanwhile in many major counties, even deep red Tarrant County, Republican turnout was DOWN!”

Senator Ted Cruz has also repeatedly warned Republican voters that the left would “crawl over broken glass in November to vote. We could get obliterated at the polls.”

Mr Brandon Rottinghaus, political science professor at the University of Houston: “Usually Republicans tend to run up the numbers in the general and are beating their opponents by big margins, so the relationship is not positive, but it is for Democrats.”
