UK Police: 'Please Do Not Contact Us About The KFC Crisis'

As logistical issues have finally been resolved, Britain’s KFC fans can get back to ‘The Colonel’ and their favourite fried chicken.

The ‘KFC crisis’ as it became known during in Britain, has finally been resolved and people can now turn their attention to the ‘Beast From The East’ as wintery Siberian weather is about to hit Western Europe.

And so, it is time for a short look back. As we’ve told you in our earlier reporting, there was widespread panic in the UK as logistical issues meant that the US chain of chicken restaurants in the UK ran out of …. chicken, resulting in a temporary closure

I’ll Have To Go To Burger King

Though the first few days it was missed by the national press, social media services were quick to pick up on it and one woman became famous for a rant in which she vowed never to go to KFC again, but rather threatened: ‘I’ll Have To Go Burger King’. After she went viral, Burger King offered her a yearlong supply of chicken to retain her as a customer.

Police statement

Just in the US in 2017, when people called 911 to report that ‘Facebook didn’t work’, in the UK desperate fast food addicts called the Metropolitan police to such an extent that they issued an official statement, asking Brits: “Please Do Not Contact Us About the KFC Crisis - it is not a police matter if your favourite eatery is not serving the menu that you desire.”

Lastly, as my colleague Kyle James pointed out yesterday, KFC realized they had to make an official apology, and did so in a fantastic manner. I invite you to read the article.

"Hello,

I am a Digital Marketing Specialists for a Creative Agency.

I was doing some industry benchmarking for a client of mine when I came across your website.

I noticed a few technical errors which correspond with a drop of website traffic over the last 6-8 months which I thought I would bring to your attention.

After closer inspection it appears your site is lacking in 4 key criteria.

1- Website Speed

2- Link Diversity

3- Domain Authority

4- Competition Comparison

I can send you over the report which shows all of the above and so much more which will help you at least improve your site, its rankings and traffic.

I would love the chance to help as well however; this report will at least give you a gauge on the quality of what I do. If you are interested then please share your requirement and contact details.

Is this the best email to send it to?

Regards, Sincerely- Kelly Willsion i.d : [email protected]"
