TN Democrat Stole Taxpayer Dollars to Finance Sexual Escapades and Pay the Man She Slept With

Shocking reports out of Tennessee that an elected official from the Democratic Party has now been implicated in a criminal scandal involving the theft of taxpayer funds for use to help cover up an affair.

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry is now under the criminal microscope of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announcing that the TBI received nude photos taken on a device of a former bodyguard to the Mayor, Sgt. Rob Forrest.

What's even more concerning is that Barry is now trying to convince taxpayers to finance a $5.4 billion transit infrastructure plan, even while her criminal case is underway, pretending as if it's a non-issue.

While having the affair with her bodyguard, Barry went on trips to Paris, France; Athens, Greece; Washington, D.C.; New York City, New York; Denver, Colorado; Oakland, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; and even Kansas City, Missouri.

While she was using $33,000 in taxpayer funds to finance her sexual escapades, her bodyguard Forrest earned $50,000 in <i>overtime pay</i> while on the trips to sleep with his lover.

The situation is absolute insanity. Not only did Barry force the taxpayers to cover her sexual desires while taking trips to cheat on her husband, but the man she was sleeping with was essentially being a paid prostitute receiving overtime pay for his services of sexual gratification.

Nashville Judge Steve Dozier signed a search warrant for the TBI to obtain Megan Barry's cell phone, and send it to a forensics laboratory to find further evidence of what the TBI believes are criminal charges of misconduct of public officials and employees and theft of property.

"A search of Megan Barry's phone could reveal information that is crucial evidence for this case," the affidavit signed by Judge Dozier said. "In particular, data and information that has been deleted from Sgt. Forrest's phone may still exist on Megan Barry's phone."

Megan Barry has already admitted to having an affair with Forrest, her former bodyguard, and it appears as if she used taxpayer dollars to finance the lavish trips and exotic expenses the couple enjoyed while having the dramatic affair.

It appears as if Barry deleted chat logs and the message history between her and her lover, which would have potentially served as evidence in the criminal investigation as to what expenses she used taxpayer money on while taking trips in secret to sleep with a man who wasn't her husband.

In most of these cases, <i>the coverup</i> is in and of itself a far more serious crime than the initial crime of theft, and the conjoined effort from Barry's office to allegedly destroy evidence of the crimes committed will be part and parcel of the criminal investigation into Barry by the TBI.

Many others within the political spectrum of nearby Nashville are now asking just who exactly inside of Barry's office knew of not just the affair, but the misuse of taxpayer cash to continue the exquisite trips and lavish lifestyle of the sexual relationship between Barry and Forrest.

The affidavit signed by Judge Dozier went on to say, "The deleted chats and messages between Sgt. Forrest and Megan Barry, if recovered, could provide further evidence of their activities while Sgt. Forrest reported being on duty."

Barry has already issued a public apology for the affair she had with her bodyguard, <i>as well as using nearly $33,000 in taxpayer funds</i> to finance her trips across the country with Forrest over the period of at least the last ten months.

<b>The following is the apology issued by Mayor Megan Barry of the city of Nashville, Tennessee:</b>

<blockquote>"Today, I have acknowledged publicly that I have engaged in an extramarital affair with the former head of my security detail."</blockquote>

<blockquote>"I accept full responsibility for the pain I have caused my family and his. I am so sorry to my husband Bruce, who has stood by me in my darkest moments and remains committed to our marriage, just as I am committed to repairing the damage I have done."</blockquote>

<blockquote>"I also must apologize to the people of Nashville who elected me to serve as your mayor. I knew my actions could cause damage to my office and the ones I loved, but I did it anyway. I must hold myself to the highest standard of which the voters deserve to expect. Please know that I'm disappointed in myself but also understand that I'm a human and that I made a mistake."</blockquote>

<blockquote>"In 2015, I was elected to serve as Mayor of Nashville on a platform that included building more affordable housing, improving public education, and promoting better transportation options. We have made progress on these fronts – but there is more to be done. While I regret any distractions that will be caused by my actions, I remain firmly committed to working hard to serve the people of Nashville now and into the future."</blockquote>

<blockquote>"God will forgive me, but the people of Nashville don't have to. In the weeks and months to come, I will work hard to earn your forgiveness and earn back your trust."</blockquote>

<a href=""> Nashville Public Radio </a>reiterated that Mayor Barry has no intention of resignation or stepping aside for future elections as a result of the affair, although she's clearly subject to arrest for the alleged crimes committed by her and potentially those who work for her.

<div style="width:100%;text-align:center;margin:0 auto;"><iframe width="360" height="202" src="" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>

"I will look forward to continuing to work for Nashvillians. We have an agenda in this office that is robust, and we have been focused on transit and housing and education, and we will continue to do that," Barry said at a press conference. "I believe as the mayor I've been able to do a lot of good things in this city, with the Metro Council and the people I work with."

<a href="">The Tennessean </a>also reported that the Chairwoman of the Metro Budget and Finance Committee, Tanaka Vercher, is exploring what investigative powers her office may have to further implicate Barry for the misuse and theft of taxpayer funding.

While Barry seemingly feels as if this isn't a big deal, as the majority of Democrats seem to react when part of a criminal investigation, these are very serious crimes.

Several nationwide members of the Democratic Party have seemingly been encompassed in similar criminal scandals of their own in recent months, with multiple arrests and Indictments.

Former Senator Brian Joyce (D-MA) was<a href=""> indicted by a Federal grand jury </a>on 113 criminal counts in December of 2017, for the charges of racketeering, extortion, honest services fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy to defraud the IRS.

Also in December, it was announced that currently sitting House Representative Alcee Hastings (D-FL) used<a href=""> $220,000 to pay off a victim of sexual assault</a>, of which was taxpayer funding used to settle the lawsuit.

In October of 2017, Pennsylvania Democrat Philip Ahr<a href=""> was outed as a disturbing pedophile </a>after being arrested for 10 counts of distribution of child pornography, 50 counts of possession of child pornography and 60 counts of criminal use of a communication facility, in which he also had images and videos of children being sexually assaulted by animals (bestiality) in his possession.

Again in December, currently sitting House Representative Bobby Scott (D-VA) was<a href=""> accused of sexually harassing </a>a former Congressional Black Caucus member.

In November, Senator Al Franken (D-MN) was<a href=""> outed by multiple women </a>for his sexual assault cases that utterly destroyed his career, even as the Democratic Party's own base urged him to not submit a resignation.

In January of 2018, Georgia Democrat and Hollywood LGBT Filmmaker Kent Igleheart was<a href=""> busted for child pornography </a>and having sex with a thirteen-year-old girl.

At the end of January, Florida Democrat Mayor Joy Cooper of Hallandale Beach<a href=""> was arrested by the FBI </a>on three felonies in a money laundering scheme.

Most recently, at the beginning of February, Texas Democratic 93rd State District Judge Rodolfo "Rudy" Delgado was<a href=""> arrested by the FBI </a>and Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office after several months of investigation in what appears to be a widespread racketeering network.

There obviously seems to be a correlation between criminal cases and conspiracy surrounding the Democratic Party, much of which is barely being covered by the mainstream media.

The newest of these cases being Tennessee's Nashville Democratic Mayor Megan Barry, who certainly appears as if she will be arrested very soon for the alleged theft of taxpayer dollars.

You have to ask yourselves when you head to the polls in the<a href=""> 2018 midterm </a>elections, <b>"Why would I vote for the Democrats when so many have been arrested for horrendous crimes?"</b>
